Falling From Grace: Fallen Sinners Book 1
Midnight Briar is currently working on finishing her debut novel, "Falling From Grace," a heart retching tale of an angel who gives up everything for love.
For the entirety of her life, Lavina has been under her father’s wing. Helping his favorite creations reach their full potential. But one mission changes the course of her life forever when she falls in love with her charge. In order to remain on Earth with her human lover, she must fall from grace. Never able to set foot in heaven or to call herself an angel of God. For him though she would become a fallen and give up any chance of having a family of her own.
For a while, Lavina is content with her human, ordinary life. But her happiness is short-lived when her entire world begins to crumble around her. Now alone in this world, she finds herself in the arms of a being who is her sworn enemy, regardless of her fallen status. But maybe he could be the key to earning her wings once more.
Triggers include, but are not limited to, death, murder, gore, blood, alcohol use, domestic violence, physical and mental abuse, pregnancy. miscarriage/pregnancy loss, struggles with mental health, cheating (not between main characters), prejudice between angels-fallen angels-demons-humans, and sacrilegious content.
"Falling From Grace" is anticipated to release in 2026. Release date TBA at a later time.

Be My Guest: A Dark Beauty and the Beast Retelling
Midnight Briar is currently working on her second novel, Be My Guest, which is a Beauty and the Beast meets Phantom of the Opera retelling. Taking place in a downtrodden village outside of Paris, the town finds itself suffering from the Black Death that is running rampant throughout the streets. When a young beauty finds that she has the opportunity to make a bargain with Death to save the last of her family from the sickness, she gives her life in exchange for her loved ones. But Death is not what he seems, and only time will tell if she will make it out of this deal alive.
